It's all came down to Peter Tadros vs. Paul Landry in Monday night's final.  Peter picked #2 ranked North Carolina while Paul took #1 ranked Illinois.

Tadros had never won the March Madness Basketball Pool.  After all these years, Peter finally gets the monkey off of his back.  Here's how he finished in previous seasons:

1999:  Tadros - 14th last place

2000:  Tadros - did not play

2001:  Tadros - 10th place

2002:  Tadros - 7th place

2003:  Tadros - 14th place

2004:  Tadros - 17th place

2005:  Tadros - 1st place, National Champion

NOTE:  Brent Van Wieren (2004) and Kurt Hazlewood (2003), champions from the two previous seasons, both finished in the top 5 this year.  The Hamilton Federation still managed to place three pickers in the Top 10.

Also, Peter finishes with 103 points which ranks as the second best first place finish.  Don Zysk still holds the record with 109 points in 2001.  Here are the Top Ten point totals of all-time:
