BICKFORD NOMINATED FOR MEMBERSHIP
 Bryan Bickford Seeks PYX Citizenship


Grand Rapids (AP)— Citizenship papers were submitted to The PYX Human Resources Office on Tuesday from Mr. Bryan Bickford.  Vice President of Human Resources, Al Bonn spoke to the press this afternoon.

"My office has received an application from Bryan Bickford to join The PYX.  Mr. Bickford recently competed in and completed the Basketball portion of PYX league play.  He nearly pulled off an unbelievable win but came up one game short after falling to Zeke Chapman in the Championship Game.  His final score of 109 points ranks as the 5th best brackets of all-time."

Vice President Bonn seemed to imply that Bickford would be granted membership based on his stellar play during the basketball season.  However, many members of the press wondered how the league can grant membership when the football portion of the season has a cap of 32 teams.

Bonn replied, "As you all know, Commissioner Nicolet pledged to raise the cap on membership if elected.  I am on a special task force assigned to league expansion.  I am confident that we will not only have space for new members, but will also expand above the salary cap."
