The 2007 Play-Offs are underway!  The Tony Romo play effected every single match-up in the PYX:

Matt Cushman defeated Thomas Van Dyke = 4 to 3

Don Zysk defeated Jeff Nichols = 4 to 3

Al Nowak defeated Brian Klingenberg = 4 to 3

Brent Van Wieren defeated Ryan Thome =  4 to 3

Each wildcard game was decided by the Seattle/Dallas game.  That  game will go down in history as one of the greatest "Bone Head" plays.  Tom, Jeff, Brian and Ryan were that close to moving on to the next round.

To make sure everyone understands, Don Zysk will have to go up against Jay Zink in the next round.  This is because the NFL always re-seeds the 2nd round of the play-offs.  The lowest remaining seed will play the highest seed.

Here are your match-ups:

DON ZYSK at JAY ZINK
This is the battle for bragging rights in the Copy Center.  Zysk and Zink have never had to face each other in the Play-Offs before.  There is a first time for everything.

MATT CUSHMAN at GARY BONN
David versus Goliath??  Matt Cushman is an expansion team...Cushman has never even been in the Play-Offs before.  Will he be the Phoenix rising from the ashes to overthrow the defending PYX Bowl champion?  Not if the Mighty Bonn has anything to say about it.  Gary comes into this game on a 5 game winning streak.  He is also carrying a four game post-season winning streak.  The last time that Gary Bonn lost a Play-Off game was in the 2nd round of 2005, when he lost a shocking upset to Dennis Harmor.

AL NOWAK at PAUL LANDRY
Could there be any bigger rivalry than this!?  These two pickers have been going at it ever since Pew Living Center in 1992!!  They have posted so much Trash talk that we could publish a book.  In their only regular season match-up, Landry got the best of Nowak.  Now it's the re-match.  The gloves are off.  This one won't be pretty.

BRENT VAN WIEREN at LINDA DALMAN
Brent has been here before.  The seasoned picking veteran definitely has his work cut out for him.  Linda Dalman in only her 2nd year of picking, has earned the number #1 seed in the conference.  This is new territory for her, as the lone female picker in this manly picking world, she must keep her cool as Brent knows every trick in the book.

Last year's PYX Bowl opponents are still alive.  Will we see the first PYX Bowl re-match in history?  Will Gary Bonn do the unthinkable and repeat as World champion? 

Get ready for Round 2....Things are really heating up!!
